About the job

As a Security Engineer, you will be a key member of our IT team and take ownership of securing Celsion Bank's cloud and infrastructure landscape. You will design, implement, and maintain security solutions that protect our digital-asset banking platform against evolving threats — while ensuring compliance with financial regulatory standards. You will play a central role in shaping the bank's security posture and contribute directly to its long-term IT security strategy.

Your responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve cloud security architecture (Azure)
  • Monitor and respond to security threats across infrastructure, endpoints, and cloud environments
  • Lead vulnerability management, penetration testing coordination, and remediation efforts
  • Implement and maintain security controls in line with regulatory requirements (DORA, ISO 27001, MiCAR)
  • Manage identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection policies
  • Automate security processes and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
  • Act as the primary contact for security-related incidents and provide 2nd/3rd level response
  • Collaborate with IT, compliance, and business units to embed security across the organization
  • Evaluate emerging threats and technologies and propose proactive mitigation strategies
  • Maintain security documentation, policies, and contribute to awareness initiatives

What you offer

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a security-focused engineering role
  • Strong knowledge in:
  • Cloud security (Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel)
  • Network security, firewalls, and zero-trust architectures
  • Identity & Access Management (Entra ID / Azure AD)
  • SIEM, vulnerability scanning, and endpoint protection
  • Experience with security automation (PowerShell, KQL, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to financial institutions (DORA, ISO 27001).
  • Banking or fintech experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to risk assessment
  • Proactive, independent, and team-oriented work style

What we offer

  • A modern and innovative IT environment with the opportunity to shape future developments.
  • A collaborative, motivated team with flat hierarchies.
  • Collaborative, growth-oriented culture with significant professional-development opportunities
  • Competitive compensation package, including training budget and the chance to work at the forefront of digital-asset finance
